ERASMUS+ day November 2017

The event was aimed at students, lecturers and administrative staff.
After the incoming students welcomed the audience in their native languages, Mag.a Alexandra Albrich and Mag.a Esther Drexler moderated the programme. Dr. Thomas Bauer, head of the International Office and Erasmus+ coordinator opened the event and discussed the benefits of the Erasmus+ programme based on the results of the Erasmus Impact Study. Furthermore, exchange opportunities for students, lecturers and members of the University College of Teacher Education Vienna were presented. Sophia Börjeson, MSc., member of OeAD, answered questions about Erasmus+. Students who had participated in Erasmus+ shared their experience abroad and the “spirit of Erasmus+” in further interviews on stage.

Afterwards, the International Office answered further questions at the information stands in the entrance hall. The OeAD was represented by Sophia Börjeson, MSc., and Mag.a Brigitte Stockinger-Resch from the Ministry of Education presented the language assistant programme Weltweit unterrichten.

The International Office and the Department of Continuing Professional Development and Educational Cooperation (IWQ) are looking forward to further events connected with the Erasmus+ programme.
