From December 7 until 11, 2015 Sabine Albert from PH Wien’s Institute of Vocational Education held a workshop on “Inclusion and Austria’s journey towards an inclusive school” at the Pedagogical University of Cracow.
The workshop facilitated interesting discussions and subject-related exchange of ideas and knowledge.
At the same time, from December 9 until 10, 2015 the conference “Inclusive Education in School Reality“, where numerous experts of Inclusive Education gave lectures, took place in Cracow. The conference was part of the Erasmus+ research project “Inclusive Education: Socio-Psychological, Educational and Social Aspects“.
The Austrian project team, consisting of Susanne Tomecek, Sabine Albert, Georg Jäggle and Martina Mazal, presented an interim report of the Austrian research results as well as the current situation of Inclusive Education in Austria.
All project partners (Lithuania, Finland, Poland and Austria) conducted various constructive meetings during this week.
Altogether, it was a successful and productive trip leading to intensive and scientifically relevant exchange between experts from various countries, students of the Pedagogical University of Cracow and teachers from all around Poland.
